What is personal data and what categories of data do we process at Larvae?
The new General Data Protection Regulation establishes a more comprehensive definition of the concept of personal data. Personal data is any information, regardless of its nature and the medium in which it is presented, capable of identifying a person. Examples of categories of personal data processed by Larvae are:

• Identification and contact data – Name, identification document number, tax identification number (NIF), age, date of birth, telephone contact, email, address, etc.
• Relationship with Larvae – History of products and services or Newsletter to which you have subscribed.

Who is responsible for processing your personal data?
Your data is managed only by Larvae and we do not pass it on to external entities (except in the condition set out in point Who do we transmit your personal data to?).

In what situations do we process your personal data?
At Larvae we process your personal data when you make a purchase, when you use our website or when we send our Newsletter. This treatment can be done orally, in writing or through our website.

For what purposes do we process your personal data?
Larvae guarantees that your personal data is only processed for the purposes communicated to you, and is not used for any other purpose. Therefore, we process your personal data to guarantee the quality of the service we provide and to be able to better respond to your needs. Some examples of purposes for which we may use your data are:

• Direct Marketing – To inform you of news, opportunities and promotions that may interest you
• Customer Management – To send your online purchases to the address indicated. / To inform you when the order has been shipped. To inform you of anything related to the order (questions / corrections / stock update)

On what basis do we process your personal data?
These are the circumstances that allow us to process your personal data:

• Your express consent, whether in writing, or orally, for example, for direct marketing purposes, for you to receive emails from Larvae
• Larvae’s legitimate interest, for example, for the purpose of improving the quality of the service provided

Larvae undertakes to process your personal data in a way that guarantees the confidentiality, security and protection of these data against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against their loss, destruction or damage.

How long do we keep your personal data?
Larvae retains your personal data only for the period of time strictly necessary to carry out the purpose for which it was collected or, as the case may be, until you exercise your right to object or right to erasure. After this retention period, Larvae deletes your personal data.

Who do we transmit your personal data to?
Whenever necessary, Larvae may transmit your personal data to third parties – Larvae partner companies, for example, goods transport companies – solely and exclusively for the purpose of performing a service you have contracted, such as delivering a product to your home. Your personal data may also be communicated, in compliance with the law, to State entities, such as the Tax Authority.

What are your personal data protection rights and how can you exercise them?

• Right of access to information – You can obtain confirmation of which of your personal data is processed by Larvae, as well as the respective information about the purposes of the processing or the retention periods for that data.
• Right to rectification – You can request the amendment of your personal data that is incorrect or incomplete.
• Right to erasure – You can request the erasure of your personal data, as long as there are no legal requirements for its conservation.
• Right to portability – You can receive the personal data you provided to us in a structured way in a machine-readable digital format.
• Right to object – You can oppose or withdraw the consent you previously gave to the processing of your personal data.
• Right to limit processing – You can request limitation of the processing of your personal data, in the form of:
  1.Suspension of processing;
  2.Limitation of the scope of processing to certain categories of data or processing purposes.
• Right not to be subject to automated individual decisions .You can ask not to be subject to any decision made exclusively based on automatic processing. These decisions are related to the definition of consumption profiles by Rastilho based on your tastes, interests and preferences, search and purchase history, etc., namely to provide a quality service and adapt marketing communications.
